Just found out my controller board was giving false faults from a bad ground wire
Spent 3 hours swapping parts on a Miconic 10 in a Denver office tower last Tuesday only to realize a loose screw on the ground terminal was the whole problem, has anyone else been burned by a simple ground issue like that?

Happens all the time man. You chase your tail for hours and it's just a loose connection somewhere. Doubt it's that serious though, probably just one of those days.

Question whether it's really that serious? Half the time people swear it's a hardware issue and it ends up being a driver update or something dumb.
