A client in Phoenix said my $120 facial 'felt like a hug for her face'

She was going through a rough divorce and just needed a quiet hour. Anyone else have a moment where the emotional impact of the service hit you harder than the technical results?

It's just a facial though, right? People should get therapy if they need emotional support, not expect it from a basic service.

Honestly, that's a really nice story. It's easy to see it as just a facial, like @rivera.christopher said, but human touch and a quiet moment can be a real help. A haircut, a massage, even a barista remembering your order when you're having a bad day, it all adds up. Those small acts of care are a different kind of support, and they matter a lot.

Yeah, my barber's chair is basically my therapy couch. I go in for a trim and leave with better life advice than my actual friends give me.
