A client in Portland told me my extractions were too aggressive

She said I was leaving marks that lasted for days, and honestly, it stung. I always thought you had to press hard to get everything out, but I started using a lighter touch with my 5-minute steam time and a different comedone tool. My results are actually cleaner now with way less redness. Has anyone else had a client call them out on pressure like that?

Some clients just need that deep pressure to feel clean though.

Ugh, that's so true. My friend has this thing where a light wash just doesn't cut it. She says her sheets need that heavy duty cycle to actually feel fresh, like it has to really scrub. I get it with towels too. Fluffy just feels fake if they weren't put through the wringer. Some things just need the extra oomph.
