Face peel gone wrong at my cousin's wedding

I was at my cousin's outdoor wedding in Austin last Saturday and decided to do a quick lactic acid peel on myself that morning. Big mistake, the sun hit me during the ceremony and my whole face turned bright red like a tomato for the photos. Has anyone else had a peel disaster right before a big event?

@thomas_johnson is right to call it out - that shade of red takes some serious confidence. Did the groom actually match anyone's tie or vest to that color, or was he just going for maximum contrast against the white dress? Seems like a bold move that either works or makes everyone look like they're sweating through a tomato stain.
