PSA: Damp drying your microderm tips makes them last 3x longer

I used to toss my diamond tips after 5 uses cause they'd get dull. Then a mentor told me to damp dry them with a clean towel instead of letting them air dry fully after sterilization. Been using the same tip for 15 clients now and it still cuts clean - anyone else do this?

Oh wow I actually read something about this on a skincare forum last week. Some dermatology assistant was saying the damp drying helps keep the grit bonded to the tip longer or something like that. Makes total sense now that I think about it.

Wait, @marywells is that true about the grit bonding? I always figured damp drying would make the metal rust faster or something, but now I gotta try this on my next tip swap.
