Just realized my local library in Springfield has a free 3D printer you can book online

I went to pick up a book yesterday and saw a sign for it. You just upload a file to their website and pick a time slot, and they'll have it ready. It's perfect for printing little phone stands or replacement parts for stuff around the house. Anyone know other public spots with free tech like this?

Actually, they charge for the filament.

But isn't that the whole point? You're paying for the material to make the thing. What did you expect, free plastic?
