The 3-second rule for re-finding apps is actually real
I kept losing apps on my phone, scrolling forever through 4 screens. Now when I need something, I say the app name out loud while swiping, and my eyes just catch it faster. It sounds dumb but it works, anyone else do this weird verbal trick?

Honestly I do the SAME thing and it actually works so well. I started whispering the app name to myself when I'm searching, and it's like my brain finally tunes in to what I'm looking for instead of just staring at a blur of icons. It sounds completely insane but the verbal cue somehow snaps my focus right to the icon. I've told my husband about it and he just laughs at me, but I've stopped losing apps so I don't care. There's something about saying the name out loud that makes my eyes scan differently, like I'm giving my brain a direct command instead of hoping it figures it out. So glad it's not just me doing this weird little trick.
