Hot take: I thought my grandma's 'secret' cornbread recipe was just a gimmick
She always insisted on preheating the cast iron skillet with the bacon grease in the oven before pouring the batter in. I tried it her way last month and the crust was completely different, way crispier. Does anyone else have a family recipe with a step that seems odd but really works?

Honestly I've had that exact reaction before too. The thing that helped me was setting a specific time limit for each task and actually sticking to it. Like I'll do laundry for exactly 30 minutes then stop no matter what. Also try putting your phone in another room while you're doing stuff. The difference it makes is wild. Started using a cheap timer app that locks me out of social media for 25 minutes at a time and I get way more done now.
