Honestly panicked for a second reading this. I had to double check my hay because I bought a weirdly cheap bale last week and now I'm side-eyeing my barn like it's a crime scene. Ngl my sheep have been looking at me funny ever since I brought it home, but I think that's just because they know I'm a terrible hay judge. I once picked up a batch that was basically just twigs and regret, and my goats still judge me for it like it was last week. Tbh at this point I should probably just start growing my own hay, but I can barely keep a basil plant alive so that's a disaster waiting to happen.
