Switched to a 3-foot level for gate posts and it saved my back

After fighting with a 6-footer on a tight residential job near Portland, I tried a smaller level for the gate posts and got within 1/16th inch on the first try. Anyone else find that using the right length level cuts the time in half for tricky spots?

Tbh I read somewhere that the 3-footer is actually based on a design from the 80s that never took off. Crazy how stuff comes back around like that.
