Had a Monday that made me want to walk out before lunch

I started my first real office job about 3 months ago, and last Monday was just a disaster from start to finish. I got in at 8am and my boss handed me a stack of 50 invoices to sort and file by hand, no training or template to follow. Then the printer jammed twice, and when I asked a coworker for help she just shrugged and said "figure it out." At 10:30 my manager called me into a meeting and told me I was too slow on data entry, even though I'd only been shown the system once. By noon I was sitting in the break room eating a sad sandwich, wondering if every first job is this rough or if I just picked the wrong place. Has anyone else had a day where everything went wrong and you thought about quitting on the spot?

Too slow on data entry" with barely any training? That's the part that sticks out to me. Nobody ever talks about how bad management sets you up to fail and then blames you for it. If they can't even give you a proper walkthrough, that's on them not you.

Tbh my data entry skills peaked at typing club in 6th grade, so you're already doing better than me.
