Three weeks into my first office job and I just figured out reply-all
I'm 22, work at a small accounting firm in Toledo, and for 3 straight weeks I was CCing the entire team on every single email. My manager finally pulled me aside and said 'you're flooding our inboxes with stuff only I need to see.' Felt like an idiot. Anyone else miss basic office etiquette stuff that nobody tells you?

Oh man, I had a buddy who accidentally replied-all to a company-wide email complaining about the boss's cooking at the holiday potluck. He had to switch desks to avoid the awkwardness for like a month.

Well, I'll be. I used to think reply-all accidents were mostly just embarrassing typos or sending something to the wrong person. But this is a whole different level of oops. @the_emma, your buddy's story really opened my eyes to how deep the pitfall can go. Switching desks for a month sounds about right, that kind of mistake sticks with you. It definitely changed my view on hitting that reply-all button, I'm a lot more careful now.
