Wasted $80 on a 'gaming chair' that ruined my back in 2 weeks

I fell for one of those cheap racing style chairs on Amazon with all the flashy RGB lights. After just 14 days of using it my lower back was killing me and the lumbar pillow kept sliding down. Turns out the foam is basically cardboard and the seat pan is way too short for anyone over 5'8". Has anyone else bought a chair that looked cool but was basically a torture device?

The lumbar pillow kept sliding down" - that happened to my buddy too, he ended up using zip ties to hold it in place and it still wrecked his back. Real talk though, those racing style chairs are built for looks not comfort, you'd get better support from a $50 office chair from a thrift store.

The whole racing chair thing is just car seat aesthetics without the ergonomics car seats actually have. Unless you're installing it in a real car and driving around, your spine is gonna hate you.
