Switched from a weekly flower order to a twice-weekly delivery and it changed my whole cooler
For years, I got my main shipment every Monday, but by Friday, the stock was always looking tired, especially the delicate stuff like ranunculus. Last month, I split the order to come Monday and Thursday, keeping the same total spend of about $800 a week. The difference is huge. Everything stays fresher, I have way less waste, and I can actually promise customers Friday wedding flowers that won't wilt by the evening. Has anyone else made a switch like this and found a better delivery schedule that works for a small shop?

Ever think about trying three smaller deliveries instead of two? Might smooth things out even more and cut down on fridge space needed at any one time.

That's an interesting idea about more frequent drops. Wouldn't the extra delivery fees add up fast though, maybe canceling out the savings on waste? The math on that seems tricky.

My brain hurts just thinking about the math, but @grayjohnson might be onto something with the smaller drops!
