Used to strip every rose stem down to bare thorns before arranging

Now I leave a few thorns on for grip and it's cut my prep time by about 15 minutes per bucket, anyone else ditch the full strip?

Wait, you used to strip EVERY SINGLE thorn off? That's insane! I've been doing this for year and I never even thought about leaving some on for grip. Fifteen minutes per bucket is a huge time save. I'm definitely trying this next time I do my roses.

Wait, do you ever cut yourself on the thorns you leave behind when you're grabbing the stems?
