My cousin found my old Zune in a garage sale box and called it a 'weird iPod'

I had to explain that the Zune's wireless song sharing feature in 2006 was actually a big deal, even if nobody else at school had one, and I still think its interface was better than the click wheel. Anyone else have a gadget that was genuinely good but just landed at the wrong time?

That Zune interface was honestly smoother than the iPod's click wheel, in my opinion.

Have to completely disagree with @charles_knight. The click wheel was simple and perfect. You could navigate your whole library without looking at the screen. The Zune pad felt slippery and less exact. It tried to be too fancy and just got in the way. The iPod got it right the first time.
