Hit 5000 hours on the same set of pouring cups
Always thought the ceramic ones from the old supplier were a six-month item at best. We logged every pour for a big job in Toledo, and the tally came in at 5023 hours before the first one cracked. That's over two years of steady work. It changed how I look at the whole 'cheaper, faster' argument for disposable gear. Has anyone else tracked a piece of gear way past its expected life?

Wait, you actually logged every single pour? That's the part that gets me. I would have lost count after like, day three. That's some serious record keeping just to prove a point, and it totally worked. Makes you wonder how much other stuff we throw out way too early.
