Showerthought: My old client binder from 2020 is basically a museum piece now.

Back then, I'd mail paper invoices to a PO box in Chicago, but last week I got paid in crypto from a client I've never met. Has anyone else's payment process changed that much?

Ever notice how people hate stuff before they even try it? Happened to me with sushi and digital art. You hear the bad stories, write it all off. Then you actually look into it, see how it works for some people. The hate is just a first draft. Understanding takes time.

Yeah, and sometimes the hate sticks even after you try it. I gave sushi a real shot, multiple times, and it just never clicked for me. The texture is a hard no. I get the point about not writing things off, but sometimes that first draft of hate is actually the final copy.
