My Tokyo trip showed me why cheap power banks fail. Invest in quality.
Was exploring the city all day. My old power bank died quickly. Could not charge my phone. Bought a better one locally. Lasted the whole trip. No more battery anxiety. Always check reviews before you buy.

You found a decent one in Tokyo? That's a miracle, those places are usually a rip-off.

The idea that Tokyo has a fair-priced spot is SHOCKING. @rowan_black is totally right about those places being rip-offs. They often charge CRAZY money for just average stuff. My cousin visited last year and spent a fortune on a basic bowl of noodles. It feels like the whole city is set up to take your cash. Finding an honest deal there must be a real MIRACLE.

Ever feel like you need a secret map to find a good deal there? I swear @rowan_black and I spent half our trip just looking for a cheap lunch that didn't taste like cardboard. We finally found a tiny place by the train station that saved our wallets and our sanity.
