Warning: I was charging my e-reader wrong for a year
Someone on here said leaving it plugged in overnight kills battery life faster, so I switched to only charging it to 80% and unplugging it right away. Has anyone else seen a real difference with that method?

Man, I did the exact same thing with my old tablet. Letting it charge to 100% all the time seemed to make the battery give out in under two years. Since I started stopping at 80%, my new one still feels like it lasts all day.

Tell me about it, my old phone battery swelled up like a balloon from that same habit. Now I use a cheap smart plug on a timer to cut off charging around 80 percent overnight. Makes a huge difference in how long the thing actually holds a charge.
