I used to think pegboard was the only way to organize a garage wall
After my French cleat system in the Seattle project held over 400 pounds of tools during the quake last fall, I switched everything. The change cost me about $600 in lumber and two weekends, but now I can move any hook in seconds. What's the biggest weight you've put on a wall system that actually held?
Wow, that's wild it held through a quake. It's funny how we stick with the first way we learn to do something, even when something way better comes along. I see that with phone chargers and all kinds of stuff too.
