Can we talk about client mood boards that totally miss the mark?
Just got a brief asking for 'vibrant and modern' but the inspo folder they sent was all muted earth tones from 2015. Do you push back hard on the disconnect or try to find a middle ground that works?

Remember when my buddy had a client send a "bold" board full of beige? He just asked which photo felt most right to them and built from there.

A board full of beige is a wild choice for something called bold. Did they just pick the first swatch they saw? It's like calling a plain white t-shirt a statement piece. How do you even start that conversation without laughing?
