I used to crave minimalism, but now I'm drawn to busy vintage posters

For years, I thought clean and simple was the only way to go. Flipping through my grandpa's old concert posters shifted my view, with their layered colors and type. Has anyone else found inspiration in what they once avoided?

Saw my friend cover his blank walls with crazy old record store posters last month. He finally admitted the clutter feels way more fun, lol.

My aunt's 70s travel posters changed my mind too.

Wow, @nancy_morgan's friend had the right idea with that messy energy.
