Question about those little hotel shampoo bottles

I used to just toss them out after a trip, but a friend in Denver mentioned she saves them for her guest bathroom. I started doing it and it's cut down my supply runs by half. What do you all do with the extras?

My gym bag has smelled like old protein bars for three months straight. Not sure if that's a health hazard or just a bad life choice. People act like it's some big secret stash but it's just crumbs and regret at this point. Honestly if your snacks survive the gym bag they're probably too tough to eat anyway.
