A customer called my trigger jobs 'sloppy' and it stung, but he was right

He pointed out my sear engagement was inconsistent, sometimes leaving too much creep. I started using a .010 inch feeler gauge as a go/no-go check on every single job now. Anyone else have a specific gauge or jig they rely on for that final polish?

Used to just trust my eyes. Now I check every job with a feeler gauge after seeing @raycraig's post about his bent one.

Honestly, my first few were so bad I'm surprised the hammers didn't just fall out on their own. I was eyeballing it like an idiot. The feeler gauge was a wake-up call. Now I keep one in my kit that's permanently bent from checking too many Glock connectors.

Bent feeler gauge, @raycraig? That's a sign you're doing it right.
