The bride's highlights turned brassy orange halfway through the reception photos, and I had to fix it in the hotel bathroom. Now I only use the professional grade stuff, even if it costs more. Anyone else have a horror story that changed their kit for good?

Oh man, "brassy orange halfway through the reception" is a special kind of nightmare. I can just picture the photographer trying to edit that out while the bride is crying in a bathroom full of toilet paper confetti. That's the kind of story that makes you buy the good stuff and then lock it in a safe.

Seriously, it's like the universe has a rule that cheap stuff fails at the worst possible moment. I see it with everything from hair dye to phone chargers.
