DAE finally get to that isolated lake after years of putting it off?
I kept seeing photos of this lake online but never had the time to go. Last summer, I cleared my schedule and drove out there. The road was rough and took forever, but when I arrived, it was just me and the water. I sat there for hours, thinking about how good things come to those who wait. That lake is my happy place now.

That kind of quiet feels impossible to find anymore.

Honestly, that line about quiet being impossible to find really hits home. It feels like every single space, even outdoors, is filled with some kind of noise or notification now. Tbh I can't even remember the last time I sat somewhere and just heard nothing at all, no machines, no people, no digital pings. It's like we've lost the default setting of silence and replaced it with constant low-grade buzz. That's probably why it feels so special and so hard to get back to.
