Agency overhauled our content calendar and traffic doubled, but was it the calendar or the new writer?
We switched from a monthly planning doc to a weekly sprint format in March, and organic sessions went from 4,200 to 8,900 by June. The same agency also swapped out our freelancer midway through, so I can't tell if the process or the person made the difference. Has anyone else seen a shift like that and figured out which variable actually mattered?
Run a simple test. Take the new writer and put them back on the monthly doc for two months. Results should tell you fast. Usually it's the person, not the process. Calendars don't write good headlines. Freelancers do. My money's on the writer.
