Our new agency's reporting dashboard crashed on the first Monday of the month

It happened right when we needed to pull data for a big client meeting. We had to manually build the report in a spreadsheet, which took about two hours. Has anyone else had a reporting tool fail at the worst possible time?

And what's wild is nobody's talking about what happens when the boss blames the whole IT team for it. Like yeah it crashed on a schedule, but did anyone ever ask why? Probably not, right? They just threw a fit and made everyone work overtime to fix it when the real problem was whoever designed it in the first place didn't think about load balancing or something. But nah, easier to point fingers at the people making minimum wage.
