Rant: Everyone praises that big SEO agency but my site tanked 30% in 4 months

I hired that agency everyone raves about, the one based in Austin, for my ecommerce store back in June. After 4 months my organic traffic dropped 30% from 12k visits to about 8.4k. They kept pushing this "content cluster" strategy that just flooded my site with thin blog posts nobody reads. Has anyone else seen this from those big name shops?

Did they actually look at your site before shoving that content cluster thing down your throat? I swear some of these big shops just copy paste the same plan for everyone and call it a day. I've seen the same story from a few other small business owners on here, and it's always the same pattern - they push a ton of low effort pages and the real traffic dries up. Those thin blog posts might have worked a couple years ago but Google has been cracking down hard on that stuff lately. It really sucks when you pay good money and end up worse off than when you started.
