Stumbled on a stat about agency turnover rates and it hit me hard
Was reading through some industry reports last night and saw that the average agency loses 30% of their clients each year just from poor onboarding. Has anyone else seen numbers like that from their own reviews?

Tbh I think that 30% number is way off unless you're looking at bottom tier agencies only.

@rayc89 I've seen agencies hit 30% easy on retainer work (like PPC management where they just flip a few levers each month). But for full service creative stuff, maybe 15-20% is more realistic unless you're marking up media buys like crazy. The real money is in those recurring services where the client forgets they're paying you. Bottom line though, those numbers only work if you're not staffing like a sinking ship.
