Hit 10,000 AI-generated images in one week and my GPU started sweating

I was running some batch generations for a project and didn't even notice until I checked my folder. 10k images in 7 days. My RTX 3080 hit 85C and the fans sounded like a jet engine. That number kinda freaked me out. How much are you guys pushing your hardware before it gives up?

Dude that's brutal, my 3070 starts sounding like a vacuum cleaner around 8k images in a week too. 85C is getting into the danger zone for sure, I'd be worried about longevity if you keep pushing it that hard. Hope you've got good airflow in your case because those RTX cards do not like sustained loads like that.

Friend of mine runs a small graphics gig on the side. He had a 3090 and was cranking out renders for some client. One night he left a batch running and went to sleep. Woke up the next morning to a dead PC. Card hit 90C and just gave up, shut down and never turned back on. He tried everything, reseating it, cleaning the fans, but that card was fried. He had to buy a whole new one and lost like two days of work because he didn't have a backup GPU. That story always sticks with me when I see these temps. 85C is pushing it hard, man. Your card might hold up for a while but sustained heat like that is a risky game.
