inThat tip from the old timer about dampening compound actually worked
Yeah, adding water just thins it out and makes it weaker in my experience.

inSpent $60 on a ultrasonic cleaner for my vinyl records and honestly it was a game changer
Woah, honestly @blair_gibson78 I gotta disagree a bit here. I tried one of those cheap Vevor deals and mine was just a mess. The motor was super noisy and it honestly left more surface noise on some of my older records. It felt like the suction was too weak to really pull the deep grime out of the grooves. Maybe I got a dud or something cause yours sounds way different than my experience.

inWarning: That $40 electric toothbrush I bought on Amazon lasted 6 weeks before the motor died
That chargeback method works sometimes but doesnt it depend on the card issuer? I had Capital One deny a claim once because they said I waited too long, even though the item broke after a week. What bank do you use that actually approved it?

inJust had a local binder correct my sewing method
@the_sean you ever try switching to a thinner thread? I started using a lighter weight and it took away the urge to pull so HARD since the thread just glides through without fighting you.

inHit 500 compromised passwords in my personal audit last night
Right, that's exactly what I mean. I had no idea half those old sites even still existed until I got a breach notification. Ended up finding like 200 passwords from stuff I don't even remember signing up for, like that old Neopets forum and a random fan site for a band I liked in high school. The rotation method is smart though, I tried doing it all in one weekend and just burned out halfway through. Now I do maybe five a night while watching TV, makes it way less painful. It's just wild how much of your digital history is just floating around out there waiting to be found.
