Just ran an AI image generator on my 2012 vacation photos and it filled in the blurry spots
I stuck some blurry old pics from a trip to the Grand Canyon into an upscaler AI and it added faces and details that werent even there originally. Has anyone else had a generator hallucinate stuff that was actually correct from the context?

Yeah I actually did that with some old beach photos and it added a whole lifeguard stand that I totally forgot was there. The AI somehow knew the right colors and everything for that year's model. Kinda freaky but cool how it can guess stuff like that.

Not really buying it. The AI isn't remembering anything, it's just making its best guess based on a bunch of other photos. That lifeguard stand might be completely wrong but it looks close enough. @eva666 if you ever find the original photo you'll probably see the AI got some details wrong.
