That $90 air fryer liner set turned my chicken into rubber

I grabbed a pack of those silicone basket liners last month because I hated scrubbing the mesh. Followed the package directions exactly, set the temp the same as always, and my wings came out pale and soggy on the bottom. Turns out the liner blocks most of the airflow, so the fan basically does nothing. Three batches ruined before I tossed them in the drawer. Anyone else found a liner that actually lets air move, or should I just go back to foil with holes poked in it?
