That cheap air fryer at the thrift store I nearly walked past

Found a beat up $12 air fryer at a church rummage sale last fall and figured it'd be a paperweight, but after one batch of crispy chickpeas I ate my words. Anyone else have a surprise kitchen gadget that actually pulled its weight?

Mine looked more like a science experiment than a kitchen tool but it actually works.
