Used to flip everything halfway through air frying, not anymore

I always flipped chicken wings at the 8 minute mark because every recipe said to, but last week I forgot and they came out perfectly crispy on both sides anyway. My air fryer (a Ninja something) circulates heat so well that flipping is totally unnecessary for most stuff. Has anyone else stopped flipping things and noticed zero difference?

Read something from a chef saying the whole flipping thing was just marketing from the early air fryer days. Stopped flipping my fries and they come out just as good now.

Man totally agree. I stopped flipping my frozen hash browns after forgetting them once and they came out way crunchier than before. Air fryer just does its thing. Even with stuff like chicken thighs I just shake the basket halfway now, no actual flipping. Saves me like two minutes of messing around.
