Warned my sister about wet batter in the air fryer, then watched her do it anyway in Austin
She poured a full cup of liquid pancake mix straight into the basket at 375 and it bubbled up through the coil and smoked out her whole kitchen. Has anyone found a wet batter recipe that actually works without a foil sling underneath?

Oh man, my buddy tried that once and his air fryer shot pancake lava all over the counter. He just gave up and went back to a real pan after that mess.
