Vent: Last week a customer asked me to put hidden cameras in their kids' rooms. I walked away.

Yeah, walking away was the right call, but I hope you told someone about it. That kind of ask is a huge red flag for kid safety. Moms and dads should not spy on their kids, it wrecks trust so bad. It's creepy and probably against the law in a lot of places. If they're that worried, there are better ways to check on them, like just having talks.

Nothing says "loving, stable home" like secretly filming your children. I guess monitoring their homework wasn't invasive enough, had to upgrade to full surveillance. Maybe they were worried the kids were stealing snacks.

Disagree with @hannah197 a bit. If the kids are really young, a camera for safety makes sense to me (like checking on a baby). But hidden in an older kid's room? That's way over the line.
