Can we talk about the $9 laser level trick that saved my 1952 Nob Hill bathroom tile job
So my bathroom floor in the Nob Hill house sloped about an inch and a half over 6 feet and I could not get the tile to sit flat. I was fighting it with shims and spacers for two weekends straight. Then a guy at the Builders Source on Eubank told me to just grab a $9 laser level and shoot a line off the highest corner, then float self leveler to that line instead of guessing. Worked like a charm, floor came out dead flat and I did it in one afternoon. Anybody else using a cheap laser for pour height, or am I late to this?
