Peeling paint after 3 weeks, did I skip a step or is the primer at fault?
Painted my garage door frame in the North Valley last month and it's already peeling in big flakes. I used a bonding primer from Kelly-Moore, then two coats of latex, but it sat through that heavy rain on the 12th. Some say I needed to sand the old oil-based paint first, others swear the primer is garbage. Have any of you had this happen with older stucco houses around here, and what did you do to fix it?
