Back in 2010, my anime info came from a single forum and a friend's burned DVDs.

Honestly, I used to just browse one big forum, AnimeSuki, and wait for my buddy to copy shows onto discs for me. That changed around 2015 when legal streaming got big and I found this subreddit. Now I check maybe five different discussion threads and three streaming services before I even start a new series. Tbh, it's better but it feels like a part-time job sometimes. Does anyone else miss when finding a show to watch was simpler?

Remember when you'd just rent a movie from the corner store? Now I spend more time reading reviews than actually watching anything.

Everything feels like that now, from picking a show to choosing a pizza place.
