Message board threads for new episodes had a whole different energy

Back when fan subs were the only option, we'd spend days on forums dissecting every little detail in episodes. Now with instant streaming, everyone chats at the same time on apps and it all scrolls away too fast. Those old threads let people jump in over a week, adding layers to the talk. It just built a closer fan group than quick likes and replies.

Lost episode threads spawned countless fan theories. Did that actually make the show better or just set people up for disappointment?

Honestly who cares if it was better or not. It was just a TV show, not some life changing event. People get way too worked up about this stuff.
