Watching FMA:B at 2 AM changed how I judge fight scenes forever

I was rewatching the Ed vs Envy fight in the sewers last week and realized I'd been totally missing how every punch and alchemy move connects to character emotion, not just flashy animation. Has anyone else had a late-night rewatch totally flip your opinion on a show you thought you already knew?

Whoa, the sewer fight hits different when you notice Ed's anger is literally powering his alchemy.

Yeah that whole scene is just pure raw emotion.
