Okay, I've seen this wrong answer about forum formatting pop up like three times this week
People keep saying you need to indent every new paragraph... but that just creates a weird wall of text on most sites. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me?

Right, because what the internet really needs is more walls of text. I guess some people just really miss the look of a printed term paper from 1992. Next they'll tell us to double space after every period.

I mean it's part of this weird thing where people get really attached to how they learned something first. Like it becomes a rule in their head and any other way feels wrong, even if it's just a tiny typography thing. I see it with people who learned cursive or the old way to hold a pencil. They defend it like it's a moral issue, not just a style that changed. Maybe it's just me but the double space feels like that, a little hill people choose to die on because it's familiar.
