I finally saw the point of a full panel replacement after a 2018 Civic came back with rust in the same spot I patched two years ago.

The owner brought it in for a new quarter panel and the rust had spread from the weld seam I tried to save, so now I just replace the whole thing if there's any corrosion at all.
