Update: My shop just hit 1000 hours on our new frame machine

I mean, we got it six months ago and I honestly thought it would take way longer to get that much use out of it. It's been a game changer for the structural stuff that used to go to the dealer. Anyone else track their equipment hours like that?

Ever think about what that kind of wear does to the calibration? That's a ton of cycles in a short time.

Honestly Kevin, that's not really how frame machine hours work. The cycles are on the hydraulics and clamps, not the measuring system itself. Our calibration checks have been solid the whole time.
