I finally switched to impact wrenches after using a breaker bar for 8 years
Heard a guy at the parts counter say torque sticks are just for lazy techs who don't know how to feel a bolt, but my buddy swears they save time on wheel jobs what do you all think torque sticks or hand torque?

The whole "lazy techs" thing. I used to think that way too. Honestly I was one of those guys who thought hand torque was the only real way to do it. Then I worked with this old timer who let me borrow his setup for a day. Changed my mind completely. Torque sticks are about consistency, not laziness. They keep you from overtorquing on accident, especially when you're tired at the end of a long shift.
