inI hit 500 completed tasks in my bullet journal and it made me realize something
Yeah totally, I see it in how people talk about their old social media posts lol. It's like a record of who you used to be.

inTIL my visa extension in Bangkok took 14 days, not the 3 I budgeted for
That "simple admin task" line hits hard. We all plan for the best case and forget how brittle the system is when you're a visitor. You're dealing with rules you don't know, tech that can fail, and no backup. Makes you wonder why they make it so hard for people who are just trying to follow the law.

inJust finished a two week job on the Ohio River and the client said it was the cleanest cut he's seen.
That's the only way to do it, like brookefox said. My old F-150 needed a solid 40 mph to get that pressure wash effect. Anything slower just leaves a nasty film.

inAppreciation post: My old way of dealing with a bad day versus just going outside
Tiny physical task to stop spinning" is a nice idea but honestly, sometimes my brain just keeps spinning anyway. I tried the watering plants thing last week and just ended up overthinking the whole time, like if I was doing it wrong. It feels like a nice theory that doesn't always pan out for me.
