Rant: Blue jays scared off a migrating flock of warblers this morning
I had a group of pine warblers stop in my backyard for water around 7am, and then three blue jays showed up and chased them all away. This is the third time this month the jays have bulldozed my feeder area during migration. Anyone else have pushy jays ruining good bird sightings at their feeders?

MAN! Blue jays are total jerks, I swear. They come in like they OWN the place and bully every other bird into leaving. It's not even about the food half the time, they just like being mean. I've seen them chase off cardinals and chickadees for no reason at all. Honestly, sometimes I wonder if they get a kick out of ruining everyone's morning.
